Mechanical formats
0U mounting preserves equipment space and supports higher outlet densities along the rack height. Ideal for cabinet rows and high-density deployments.
1U and 2U rack-mount formats provide accessible front or rear distribution for network, telecom, lab and compact rack installations.
AC PDU technology platform
Zentronics AC PDUs support data centres, server rooms, equipment racks, engineering desks and automated test environments with a common application-led design approach.
Basic products provide dependable outlet distribution and protection. Metered products add immediate local electrical visibility. Intelligent platforms extend that foundation with remote monitoring, alarms, environmental sensing and optional outlet-level switching and metering.
Applicable intelligent models use an embedded Linux control platform. This provides a flexible base for Ethernet-connected management, local interfaces, event handling, data collection and integration with wider infrastructure-management or laboratory-automation systems.
Product-development teams can incorporate supported PDU control and telemetry functions into continuous test automation. C or Python software can coordinate power cycling, sequencing, measurement capture and test recovery through the interfaces provided by the selected model.
Engineering specification guide
| Design area | Available engineering scope | Selection considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Input architecture | Single-phase or three-phase; fixed lead, plug or project-specific termination | Source rating, redundancy plan, connector standard and installation practice |
| Distribution | 4 to 48 outlets across current platform configurations | Outlet mix, bank arrangement, branch loading, numbering and locking |
| Measurement | Voltage, current, active power, energy and extended power-quality parameters on applicable models | Required accuracy, sampling, logging, alarm and reporting level |
| Control | Monitored, switched and switched-metered-monitored architectures | Whole-PDU, branch or individual-outlet visibility and control |
| Communication | Ethernet, Web, SNMP, Modbus TCP and RS-485 options | DCIM/BMS integration, cybersecurity policy and automation workflow |
| Environmental | Temperature, humidity, contact, leak and other sensor options | Sensor quantity, placement, alarm limits and external-system integration |
Feature availability, ratings, measurement accuracy, protocols and certification scope vary by model. Final values are confirmed in the approved datasheet or project specification.
