Technical architecture

Designed as part of the power chain.

Granular DC visibility

Feed and outlet telemetry helps operators identify localised loading, compare redundant feeds and plan capacity.

Protection architecture

Branch protection, alarm reporting and service-isolation choices are selected around the required current and fault-management strategy.

Mechanical integration

Compact horizontal or zero-U vertical configurations can be adapted to the cabinet, busbar and connector ecosystem.

DC PDU technology platform

High-current DC distribution with measurement, control and automation.

Zentronics DC PDUs are designed for telecom, data-centre, HPC, AI, laboratory and product-validation environments that require protected DC distribution with clear operational visibility.

The portfolio includes basic, metered and intelligent configurations in vertical and horizontal formats. Application-specific architectures can support -48 VDC systems, dual feeds, high-current busbars, individual branches and customer-selected connector or harness arrangements.

Applicable intelligent DC PDUs measure DC voltage, DC current and DC power. Cumulative energy and time-series measurements can be retained and exported as CSV data within supported configurations, giving operators and test teams a practical record for analysis and troubleshooting.

Linux-based control supports Ethernet and serial connectivity, including RS-232 or RS-485 according to the selected design. Dedicated environmental interfaces and USB expansion can connect temperature and humidity sensors, storage devices and application-specific peripherals, including USB cameras where the approved configuration supports them.

Supported interfaces allow C and Python applications to automate switching, collect telemetry, coordinate test sequences and integrate the PDU into continuous-validation environments.
